Hotel rooms are blocked at $196+tax per night (single or double), including in-room wireless, access to the fitness center, etc.

Reserve your room at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, Embarcadero Waterfront at $196+ per night

Some nights are no longer available at that price.

Additional Lodging Options

You may find that for some days the conference hotel is no longer available. But the good news is that there are many alternatives given that the conference hotel is well-connected to the public transportation.

The Conference hotel is at the Embarcadero BART station  the “California” line of the San Francisco Cable Car (see http://www.sftodo.com/cable-car-san-francisco.html for information, cool maps and useful fare information) as well as the F-Line Cable Car to Fisherman’s Wharf.

We suggest that you “roll your own” hotel if the conference hotel is not available or not your choice. This gives you the most freedom of choice, also regarding your budget, and perhaps let you also experience other parts of town.

Perhaps you want to

  1. contact nearby hotels directly (see this useful overview map of the area showing public transportation and major hotels.

  2. Use hotel booking agencies like www.hotels.com or other sources like www.tripadvisor.com  and airbnb.com to find the right hotel at the right location at the right price

  3. Use the San Francisco Visitor Information Center for their services in helping find a hotel

There are a great number of hotels in the “Union Square” area (South of “California” street near Powell Street.) which is west of the hotel and easily reachable both via BART (Powell St. Station) or Cable Car (California Line to Powell St).

Or if you prefer to stay in the famous “Fisherman’s Wharf” area, there is also a historic “F-Line” cablecar that goes from Embarcadero to Fisherman’s Wharf.
